Marie White, Attorney

Marie White was born and raised in Glennallen, Alaska, where her family operated a full-service tourist lodge. Marie obtained her undergraduate degree from Alaska Pacific University in 1984 then worked for Arco in their Anchorage office. She moved to the Los Angeles area in 1987 where she obtained her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1990. Immediately after graduating she relocated to Seattle, where she has lived since. Marie worked for a little over a year for a Seattle law firm, then opened her own law practice in March 1991. She has been a solo-practicing lawyer for the past 19 years, focusing almost exclusively on family law. In 2009, Marie started Pro Se University PS to help individuals involved in family law cases who are not able to afford an attorney.
Stephen Gaddis

Stephen Gaddis served King County Superior Court over 25 years as a court commissioner and superior court judge prior to his retirement in 2005. A graduate of the UW School of Law, he has published numerous articles in Family Law and taught Family Law at the Washington State Judicial College, Annual Spring Judicial Conferences and at numerous bar and bench trainings. He is now a private Mediator and Arbitrator, working throughout the Puget Sound area. He has taught mediation practices and techniques since establishing the Northwest Mediation Service in 1977; he co-instructed “Mediation and Advanced Family Law” at the Seattle University School of Law; he and has been trained and served as a trainer of mediation practices and possibilities in Collaborative Law cases.

Caroline D. Davis

Caroline Davis is the Executive Director of Family Law CASA of King County, a non-profit organization. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) screens, trains, supervises, and supports community volunteers who are appointed to investigate custody and visitation disputes in order to give children a voice in court. Caroline is a frequent speaker at guardian ad litem trainings. She is a past president of the King County Bar Association and previously operated a family law practice. She also trained and worked as a mediator. Caroline has practiced in Washington since 1979.
